The Meliverse

Poems by Dr. Meliton P. Zurbano. A verse almanac of the world, from the first hush before all ages to the AI awakening.

Two volumes by a working teacher. Volume I walks history from the Big Bang to 2026 in 277 short rhymed pieces, with the Philippines threaded through. Volume II steps inward, toward thought, love, and the invisible hands of the world.

The collection

Both volumes self-published in 2026. Each stands on its own. Read together, the first goes outward through history; the second turns toward thought, love, and how power moves the world.

Big Bang

When no light had learned to shine,

There was only the void’s great silence,

No matter, no space, no time.
